Worker Retraining Grant
The Worker Retraining Grant can help you start on your way to a great new career. We help with tuition and books for your first quarter (and maybe more!) and give you some great guidance along the way. If you enroll in nearly any of our short term certificate, AAS or BAS programs, you may qualify for Worker Retraining benefits.
What can the Worker Retraining Grant do for me?
- Provide funding for tuition, fees and textbooks for one quarter
- Academic advising
- Assistance with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Career guidance
- Résumé and cover letter writing assistance
- Job search skills
Am I eligible?
You may be eligible for the Worker Retraining Grant if you:
- Are receiving unemployment benefits
- Have exhausted your unemployment benefits
- Are a veteran
- Are active duty military
- Are a displaced homemaker
- Are in danger of losing your job
- Are formerly self-employed
- Lost a job due to a disaster
